YMCA Camp MacLean is hiring for a Program Director!   YMCA Camp MacLean has been proudly providing camp programming for children, teens, and adults since 1941. Programs available include a resident summer camp, outdoor education, weekend campouts, family programming, and much more. YMCA Camp MacLean is located in beautiful southeast Wisconsin, one mile east of the city of Burlington.    The Program Director is responsible to the Director of Camp Programming for the oversight and management of assigned camp programs & activities. During the summer months, the program director will work in conjuntion with the Director of Camp Programming to deliver overnight camp program & activities to over 1,000 campers annually. During non-summer months the program director will transition to managing and overseeing rental group programs as assigned (i.e outdoor education, conferences etc.). Ensure the safety and welfare of all campers and guests. Carry out the mission of YMCA Camp MacLean.   Scope of Responsibilities: - Ensure procedures, policies and public relations at all times. - Responsible for the continued development, implementation, growth and evaluation of camp programs - Serve as resident host to facilitate a quality experience for groups and campers (Includes weekends & nights) - Maintain positive relationships with all customer bases from the point of contact, scheduling, program development and evaluation. - Articulate safety concerns, emergency procedures, risk management issues to staff and customers.
