Be Part of Our Mission
The mission of the YMCA of Metro Chicago is to develop strong children, families and communities across Metropolitan Chicago through academic readiness, character development, violence prevention, and fitness and healthy living. Our network of 22 centers, five resident camps and hundreds of program sites across the city and suburbs provide everyone with a safe place to learn, play and grow. Every staff member we hire, every schedule we create and every special event we dream up is designed to bring us closer together and make it easier to grow into our best selves. A Better You will emerge at the Y, as will a meaningful way to contribute to A Better Us.
